This is one of six pieces in progress in my studio at the moment. It is enameled copper with knotted twine and cotton, part of the "Weather " series which does have a lot of red and black, but other colors too. Some pieces will be live on wall mounted mixed media elements.
I just finished a class at the Print Making Center of New Jersey, one of the luxuries I allowed myself, making use of my Individual Artist Fellowship. I feel like a flat footed dancer in the print studio, but it was wonderful to learn some new things (photo etching with solar plates).
