Thea Clark, Domestic Inclusions #2, brooch, back, oxidized silver, painted steel, mica, nickel silver, pvc
(The cotton broadcloth is from my husband's old work shirt)

Nothing like cleaning up to get things rolling. I finished#2 in the grouping "Domestic Inclusions" Above are front and back pictures.

The studio tour went very well, good crowds, sold some work and met two new jewelers from NJ,  Stevie B.  and Tabitha, who came to meet me and join the New Jersey Metal Arts Guild.

Studio Tour Day

New pieces have been made, piles of paper have been filed into their proper places or recycled, display tables have been set up, a 1"x 2" plank has been hung to hold necklaces, a few new display accessories (old painted wooden blocks) added to the mix, relative order and calm have descended on my studio, at long last. I love the studio tour. There is nothing like expecting a little company to get the organizing and cleaning gears going.
